Despondent Chimp

These two drawings titled Despondent Chimp’ 1 and 2 are from 1996. They are produced with charcoal and coloured chalk on paper. The frames are made with beautiful recycled timber rescued from an old wharf that was being torn down in Pyrmont, Sydney.

They were sold at an exhibition I held at Baby Enzo in Paddington, Sydney. It was a bit of a party that night and I have no records of who purchased them or where they may be now all these years later… fun night though.

 Sold
