I’m holding an exhibition of landscape oil paintings at Comber Street Studios, 5 Comber Street, Paddington NSW 2021, Australia.
This exhibition was titled The New Zealand Hills and had a large number of oil paintings that were just 200mm square but framed in large, ornate gold profiles.
I’m pleased to say that I have an opportunity to exhibit some of my recent oil paintings from the 2013 and 2014 shows, and also some new works not yet exhibited, at the Art2Muse Gallery in Double Bay.
The exhibition runs from 29 April to 12 May, with the launch at 6pm on Thursday 1 May at the Art2Muse Gallery, 357 New South Head Road, Double Bay.
It would be great to catch up with you at the launch. I’m looking forward to seeing the landscape themes from the last two year’s work recombined into a new show.
I just wanted to say a big thanks to everyone who was able to make it to the opening, it was a fun night and there are some great photos on Facebook of the opening.
If you didn’t get there, the paintings are all up on the web now and the show runs until Sunday 9 March. It’s open every day and I’m at the gallery this weekend and next with a table full of wine and cheese that I need help getting through.
A quick reminder that my exhibition opens at 6pm on Tuesday next week! That’s 6pm, Tuesday 25 Feb At the Queen St Gallery 28 Queen Street Woollahra.
I’m really pleased to confirm that Sheona White, Head of Public Programs, AGNSW will open the exhibition, and also that the highly respected Indigenous elder Charles ‘Chicka’ Madden will conduct the Welcome to Country.
The show runs from Tuesday 25 February for two weeks through to 9 March.

These are small oil paintings based on the New Zealand hills. They range in style from somewhat representational through to works with more abstract marks and thicker application of the paint.
