A charcoal drawing on paper produced in 1991 as a preliminary for the oil painting Luther In My Lounge Room.

Overlooking the beach, near the northern tip of the South Island of New Zealand, in a place called Collingwood. A quick sketch of a house that was for sale many years ago.

The pencil sketch was done from the roof of the Flinders Street campus of The City Art Institute of Sydney in 1988. The acrylic painting was made from the drawing but I think the original pencil sketch was the better work.
