The Graduating Students Exhibition of film and video for the College of Fine Arts 1990.
My short film Strings was exhibited here and won the Metro award for best film. Actually the award was more for just completing a film at City Art where the facilities were so screwed. We had a couple of wind-up Bolex cameras, a CP16 and a Magnasync 16mm machine for transferring sound recordings. The Magnasync would over-heat after around 11 minutes and loose speed. A problem, when your film was longer than 11 minutes. The solution was to strap a fan to the back of the unit to cool it down enough to complete the sound mix.
I never did claim that award, it was some studio time at Metro.
